Ahh...the good old days... Here is a step by step guide, provided by a recovering AA junkie... :) 1. Make sure you wear your chastity belt, as the Imbibing of fermented beverages tends to give you goggles, and men liquid courage. You don't want to wake up 6 months later wishing for a morning after pill. 2. Make sure you eat a good sized dinner (don't overly stuff yourself, but make sure you are full). Bread-like foods are best, ie pizza, toast, ham sammich, Double-Cheeseburger with Big Mac Sauce from McD's. (Po Boy Sammich). 3. Bring along some friends, and designate one as security guard (to keep away poachers) and one as designated driver or taxi Cab Hailer (The diff being taxi cab hailer can have a few, while the DD should have maybe 1 drink IF you plan on being out for more than an hour before he/she has to drive again). All I could think of for safety rules, so Have fun. here are some drinks: Snakbite (make sure you ask for the SHOT. It's good, thogh most bartenders give it to unruly customers to get rid of them, because it tends to knock you on your buttocks). Jack and Coke: Staple drink for all dark angels roaming the night. April Shower: Used to drink these back in Ireland. Very good, but strong. Viagra: Not too strong, and gets you in the modd for more. Plus, it looks like Romulan Ale with ice cubes. Get yerself some Dr. Pepper and some Aftershock: Mix 3/4 cup of Dr. Pepper with 2 shots of Aftershock: Result - - A drink humbly known as Thundershock. Very nice. Make sure you have yourself a Guinnness or some other type of dark ale, american beer tends to be watered down mush. thank god i learned to drink in germany, so i could avoid the good ol' boy syndrome of "hey joe, pass me another coors light" canadian beer is also good, Labbatts in particular. If you like Heinekan, try Sam Adams. If you like lemonade, try you a Whiskey Sour. Very VERY good. also, it helps to be around happy people, because depression spreads like Smallpox around drinking people. Sing some songs, but try not to do it when you're overy drunk: you'll look like an idiot trying to sing Black Betty if you've drank 17 Black Betty's lol. Also, pick a nice fast based song: play it on the jukebox or request it from the band (Live bands are ALWAYS better in my opinion. Except now that I am a daddy with a 2 year old, they always seem to be just too darn loud :() That song will be your drinking anthem, and you are pledged to listen to that song at least ONCE each time you plan on drinking seriously. Oh yeah, Lastly: Make sure you don't mix meds with drinking. It can be deadly. Even taking a tylenol for a headache and then drinking a few beers can kill you, so be careful. (Wasn't there a chick who snuffed it after taking too much midol with her drinks? I swear that sounds familiar? Oh well). So, be safe and have fun!! oh, and don't worry about the massive headache/stomachache/Nausea/body aches/light sensitivity you get the next morning. It just means your body is telling you it wants more alcohol. love ya! kc
