DriveThruRPG - what am I doing wrong?

I know that there's been quite a bit of debate over drivethrurpg, but that aside, free products are something I believe in quite strongly. That said, I'm having trouble downloading the ones they're offering.

After logging in and clicking on the free product, I click the "Add to Cart" link. So far so good. However, what comes up is a download box saying I'm downloading some file called ebx.etd. This is what happens whenever I try to download any free product there. I don't know what this is, and my computer doesn't recognize what .etd is either. I really want the free stuff they're offering, but I don't know what to do.

Any help or advice is appreciated, thanks!

You're supposed to download the "ebx.etd" file. You then launch it in Acrobat Reader 6, and it goes through the process of downloading the actual PDF. If Acrobat 6 is installed properly, it's pretty straightforward (on my WinXP PC; not sure how this works on other OSes).

Have you tried to save the .etd file and open it with Acrobat 6? It should work...

Thanks Mythosa. It took me a few minutes to realize what was screwing up, since I knew I had installed Acrobat Reader 6 a few weeks ago. Turned out a system restore I did a while ago had the side effect of removing the program. Things worked fine after I redownloaded it.
