Drizz't help

First Post
Shrotly after I started playing D&D back in 1989, a friend of mine gave me a copy of a book by R.A. Salvatore called "Homeland". I am sure that you are all familiar with Drizz't Do'Urden the Drow of Menzoberanzan. Great book, as is the entire Dark Elf Trilogy.

Regardless, many years later, I have purchased my own copy and started reading it a few days ago. What a wonderfully developed character Drizz't is. So, I am asking a favor about everyone's favorite drow.

Does anyone have the stats (or know the whereabouts of such) of Drizz't in 3.xE? If I am not mistaken, he was a 14th level ranger in 2nd Ed, but I was wondering if anyone has taken the time to convert him to the new rules. I would imagine that he is most likely 18th Ranger/2nd Wizard, but I could be wrong. Any ideas, suggestions, or hints?

16th level ranger now I believe. With ECL that makes him level 18. 3.0 stats are in the FRCS. 3.5 stats are on the back of his card in the D&D Miniatures line.

They didn't change much between editions.

F10/B1/R4 does make a lot of sense. Although given his complete destruction of nearly everything he faces, I would have thought that his BAB would have been higher than 15. Regardless, that helps quite a bit - gives me a general idea of how he has progressed and where he fits in.

Er, I should have said a Ranger who's a 16th level character. :) Yes, he mainly has fighter levels now. But he needs the feats, and there is no such thing as 2e Dual Classing anymore (not that elves were able to do that anyways, not that authors need to follow rules, not that they should, etc...).

Here is one interpretation based on the levels given and from what skills and feats he seemed to have in the books.

Drizz't Do'Urden: Male Elf(Drow) Bbn1/Ftr10/Rgr4 (of Mielikki);

Sandain, what method are you using to determine his Skills? I had thought that perhaps you using the alternative Fighter that can choose six skills as class skills, but off a quick math count, I still don't think that is adding up. I noted the Superscripted 1...what does it mean?

Not trying to bash you. I agree with those skills from the novels: while his Feats are of a fighter, his skills are definately more along the lines of a rogue or ranger. Its a tough thing to try to reconcile.

They had his stats in the hardcover Forgotten Realms Campaign Book that came out for 3rd edition. I haven't seen an update for 3.5.

The 3.5 updated version is on the back of his card that comes with his D&D Miniature. Just a few more skill points and few different feats for the most part.

The Dingo stole my baby!

I used the Hero Forge 3.5 spreadsheet - the skills should be quite accurate.

Its hard because he has so many rogue skills and also a high spellcraft and knowledge arcane and planar.
