Druid 15 -- needs feats

First Post
As the title says, this is a 15th level Druid (human) who needs some feats.

She wants to be a summoning specialist - what feats are there that really make SNA amazingly good? Are there any, and if so, where are they? Particularly making them tougher, and most of all *stay longer*. So, other than Extend Spell, of course.

She's a bit of a wildshaper too, so naturally Natural Spell is a given. Other stuff that's just damn handy in that department?

Thanks in advance. :)

I'm playing a 14th level elven druid in a live game of mine. In fact, we played last night. DM now wants to ban summoning spells because of my druid :) A Sudden Maximised Summon Nature's Ally VII (for 3 huge elementals) saved our skinny behinds from being beat up by two iron golems - which also drew the attention of some barbarian ogres and ogre magi. Made a nasty encounter quite tame.

Yes, Augment Summoning is great, but make sure you have your animals pre-statted so that you don't slow things down working it our on the fly.

Sudden Maximise feat is great for making sure you get the maximum critters when you absolutely need it.

Imbued Summoning (PHBII) metamagic feat would allow you to simultaneously cast a beneficial touch spell on the summoned creature at the same time (eg Bull's Strength).

Animal Growth is a great spell.

There's another feat (can't recall name or source) that would allow you to cast a prepared (as against spontaneous) summons spell as a standard action instead of a one round action.

Improved Initiative so that you can get you summons spells off earlier.....

Mass Bull's Strength and Mass Bear's Endurance can extend the durability/longevity and lethality of your critters. As can Barkskin.

Ah, now this sounds promising! :D

Thanks, that's quite a bit of advice there, most of which (at least) is bound to be helpful.

Spell Focus: Conjuration, Augment summoning, Natural Caster, Extend Spell, Imbued Summoning(focus on Cat's Grace, Magic Fang, or the like. Augment Summoning provides an Enhancement Bonus to Str and Con, so Bull's Strength and Bear's Endurance is pointless.) this leaves you one orvtwo feats to play to fine tune your character.

Spell Focus Conjuration is great for Druids. A large portion of your great spells are conjuration.

Augment Summoning is a natural follow up to Spell Focus Conjuration. Its a very powerful feat too.

Extend Spell is okay i guess, but i feel there are better choices. If you are looking at extend specifically for summons I think its pretty terrible. How often are fights lasting more than 5 rounds? 10? Probably very rarely, and if they do your summons are probably dispelled or dead by that point (aka: doing their job).

Sudden Maximize is a great feat for the Summoner Druid. Like the poster above me said, the ability to make sure you get 3 or 5 creatures out is very important. A maximized Arc Lightning is never bad either.

Natural Spell is amazing, obviously. They might as well just deny druids a 6th level feat and instead give them this one.

I'm also a big fan of that feat that allows you to spontaneously cast Cure spells (Complete Divine) too. Having the ability to swap any spell on your list for a SNA or Cure is fantastic, especially as your lower level spells start to lose value.
