Druid of Moradin?

Newbie

First Post
I am making a dwarven druid, and i couldnt see why not to be a druid of moradin, but it just seems a little odd. Anything in the rules or opinions that go against this?

sorry for spelling errors and thanks for any help

Dwarven druid is pretty odd already. ;)

There obviously aren't any really fitting dwarven gods for such a concept, so I guess Moradin is fine.

sweet thanks, i just needed help convincing myself it wasnt that odd

Just remind yourself that mountains are part of nature.

As a personal suggestion, I'd venture to say that Dumathoin may be a better fit for a dwarven druid, if you're going for the whole 'underground ecologist' angle. Gimli meets Liet-Kynes if you would. :)

A dwarven druid of Moridin is no more odd than the character I'm creating for Living Greyhawk...

A half-orc Druid/Barb of Heironeous. :) Alignment will be NG. I just can't decide on what class to take at 1st level...

Barbarian - makes more sense to be raised as a barbarian and then become a druid, than the other way around.

Or could start as a druid who later got really, really pissed when someone started messing with his trees ;)

That's still barbarian then... ;)

More HPs versus better skill selection (same skill points) - but the barbarian has many of the important druid skills as well (like survival, handle animal).

RP replies, I should have guessed. :)

I'm more looking for the min/max route... This is Living Greyhawk after all. :)
What do you want more, skills or hit points?

Both the druid and the Barbarian have 4 skill points a level, so it's a matter of which class skills do you want to Max at first level, and how many hit points you want.

Also, the barb has +1 BAB which allows you to take certain feats at 1st level that the druid doesn't qualify for. If you want one of those feats, go for a Barbarian.
