They have said that it's possible that there will be more then 8 classes there, and if that' does turn out to be the case, I would expect druid to be the 9th. Currently the known classes only feature a single controller, they are in need of a divine one to round them out.As for the druid itself, prior to 3E I would have said that you could feel free to dump druids completely and I would never miss them. Earlier editions always did a poor job at making this a viable class. But druids are one thing that I felt 3.x did really well, and I'd consider them to now be an iconic part of the game.</blockquote>
