The party makes its way north... away from the shoreman loading and offloading cargo from the ships... into a district where those wares are being openly peddled on the street, while peformers & artisans ply their trades for the amusement (and coin) of the peddlers' customers, where people in fine silks walk shoulder-to-shoulder with the unwashed masses... and the city watch seems to maintain a sharp eye, to keep the area safe enough for the continued patronage of the wealthy. [sblock=Mikara]Mikara is stunned as she makes her way through the throng. The street is as vibrant and alive as any jungle of plants & teeth... and just as potentially deadly. She passes with a wary predator's eye, she may not necesarily be familiar with this "jungle"... but the rules of wilderness survival are the same no matter where you hunt. She breaks stealthily away from the rest of her new "plodding" pack, to survey the area. As you stalk the waterfront, you find that the diversity of its inhabitants is the asset you'll be able to use to pass unnoticed. After a couple of quick passes of the waterfront, you fail to find a man working in this medium of burned wood that your companions call "charcoal"... you do, however, find that there is only one person in the area working with that material... in fact, it seems that there is only one streetperson working each craft in this area. (OOC-in other words... only one juggler, one oil painter, one lutist, one 3-card monte dealer, etc...) This form of territorialism stands out to Mikara's predatory nature, further confirming her instinct of this place's "wildness".[/sblock] [sblock=status]Successes: 7 Failures: 2[/sblock]
