You have the plans, now you just have to make it to the dropship in 1 piece. They have the plans, your company is all that stands between them and getting away.

Since I have room for 12 players I do not expect the game to be full so if your there and don't get in to something else stop by and jump in.

In addition to the above game I have several other games I plan to run in open gaming through the weekend. Just look for the huge pile of HeroScape. :D

GRINDER
This will be run on Friday afternoon in open gaming, all are welcome, join at any time. Beginners welcome!!

The Battle of Monte Diablo
See how this battle of the FedCom Civil War turns out as the Lyran's assault a force of Davion's & ComStar holding Monte Diablo.

King of the Hill
Classic King of the Hill, Clan equipment, teams working to see who can control the hill long enough to win.

Plus other scenario's or pick up games.

Just bring your dice. :-)

I'll be there. Hopefully, the bizarre game lottery system will be kinder than the time I went a couple of years ago.

You'll be running pick-up BattleTech? I'll have to keep an eye out; I haven't played much BT in, oh, a decade or more, but the new intro set makes me want to play. (But the all-night 10 hour scenario is probably a bit much for me. :) )

I'm in Sunnyvale for work this week, and will be staying through the weekend to be at DDC on Saturday. Don't know if I'll be able to play events or not, but I'm hoping to do some pickup gaming, for sure :D

Glad to hear some EN Worlders are making it.

I was beginning to wonder as my thread disappeared.

Yes I will be doing pick up Battletech - starting with an event on Friday afternoon - hopefully starting around 2 going till 6. Will be great to knock the rust off or learn a new game. Easy to add or drop people as we go.

I know their will be some others going on through out the weekend, just keep an eye out for the huge piles of HeroScape. ;)

Well, in addition to the previously mentioned BT, I finally got to play Spirit of the Century (twice - once as Nick Falcone, sky pirate, struggling against Nazi mad science on an uncharted Indonesian island, and the second time as David Palsey, hard-boiled ex-sniper, sent into the the past to stop a madman from keeping the Aztec Empire alive), and it was great fun. Add in some Dark Heresy (which was fun, but it did add further evidence to my suspicion that the whiff-factor in the WH RPGs isn't to my taste), some Battlelore, and finish it up with a great Buffy/Angel game today (I played a ghoul in a band of "independent contractors" hired by Wolfram & Hart to investigate a little problem), and the sum total is: I had a blast.

I didn't get to play M&M, and I missed out on a game set in the Firefly/Serenity universe that was being ran with SotC (where Fate points were replaced by Big Damn Hero points), but maybe next time. :)

I arrived later Friday than I intended but really didn't miss much, some of my friends wanted to go to a local theater and see Jumper, which they said wasn't spectacular.

Friday after being pissed off that my buddies wanted to sit and talk I drove off to get food, came back just in time to get into a Dark Heresy pick up game. We moved to 3 different rooms in search of space, quiet and/or not wanting to mess with someone's mojo.

Dark Heresy is fun as a 1 shot or maybe a short campaign, but I'm not a fan of the Warhammer Fantasy/40K rpg system. Nor am I a fan of the eternally dark setting, though we did have fun being so zealous and the GM has a knack for making the in between stuff entertaining. Sebek the supply guy was probably not as fun in the actual text.

I think there were a total of 3 shots fired. The first killed a bound mutant in 1 shot. The second killed a ranting unaware lunatic in 1 shot. The 3rd might have killed an undead zombie in 1 shot, can't remember, it may have been 2 shots. We ended before finishing the adventure in the back of the book, thus we survived, so all in all it was a good ending.

Saturday I'll post after I get some work done ;)

Well it was another successful and entertaining DunDraCon.

I had a blast doing the Battletech Grinder on Friday afternoon and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. As I hoped a few people walking by jumped in and enjoyed the fun.

My Con sponsored B-Tech Friday night went well, with the best part being a Rifleman that had been untouched getting head capped by a PPC and destroyed in the last couple rounds of the game.

Saturday was a lot of catching up with old friends and having my halfling "fire" focused Master Specialist going solo against a Red Dragon for about 5 rounds. It was a blast.

Sunday was all about the Druids Mammoth animal Companion tossing a Frost Giant offthe side of the Mountain. And protecting the group from a massive avalanche was cool too.

Monday was more catching up and a few board games.

I did not game near as much as normal but it was a good con and look forward to next year.
