Dunegon Tiles Quality?

So, there are NO Dungeon Tiles near me that I can go look at, feel at or just interact with, so I am contemplating ordering 10-20 of them from Amazon.

Now, you, dear readers of ENWorld, have a wealth of information regarding these tiles. How sturdy are they? How easily to they wear, or tear for that matter?

What is your general impression of these, and the quality of them?

They are a decent quality and very thick cardstock. Do keep them from getting wet on their edges though. I would assume th will eventually wear and tear though.

IMHO they ought to be on plasticard.

I own 2 of each of the first 5-6 Dungeon tile sets. I've found them to be very good quality. They are very sturdy and I imagine that they could last quite a while.

I think that they are good value for money but you need a few different sets to get full utility out of them.

The quality is top notch. The utility is less so. I would recommend order a few packs (1 or 2) to see if you like them before sinking major cash in. If you are looking to drop a large amount of cash, there are other alternatives that work somewhat better.

When I popped out one of the more recent sets (I wish I could remember which one), one of the sheets had a problem with the slick printed paper coming unfastened from the cardstock middle. I put a bit of glue between them, and they never came undone again. I don't even know what tiles they are now.

That's the only problem I've ever had with mine.

I'm still using tiles from the very first set with no problems. As long as you don't beat the heck out of them, or spill liquid on them, they should be fine.

But, why would you order 10-20 (!) sets instead of ordering just 1 set to see if you like it?
