I received Dungeon #141 last night. I must say I am quite impressed with this issue, and it takes a lot to knock my socks off with Dungeon. I am only subscribed because there are no stores that stock them or can keep them in stock around here. I am looking forward to The Wandering Monster part of the Campaign Workbook each month. I like that it includes Strategy & Tactics, Ecology, Treasure & Lore sections as this fluff is what DMs love. The Living Shipwreck is an absolute beauty. CR 18 indeed. I believe I have a new favorite aquatic adversary! I started reading Swords of Dragonslake and being s it is an urban adventure I thought it'd be a great adventure for Ptolus. I found a great spot for the city of Talantier; directly west of Tarsis and NE of Kartare, nestled right above where the Maquent River begins. I gues in such a campaign, the title would aptly be Swords of Maquents' Lake. The artwork in Dungeon kepps getting better and better. It would be totally awesome if Paizo had an art gallery for their issues. The intro art for The Sea Wyvern's Wake is definetely poster-worthy. In fact that is another thing I'd love, being able to purchase select artpieces blown up as posters. Last but not least Paizo is having a contest for the upcoming release of the D&D Cartoon DVD set. If you want to get in on the action drop an email to contest@paizo.com with a subject line of D&D Cartoon Contest.
