The new Dungeoncraft article is also up. I thought it was an interesting read and it contains a couple of hints about what's going to appear in the upcoming 4e MotP (a monster called the keeper which is based on the keeper from previous editions and the gardhyi from Alternity and some discussion of the godlike denizens of the Far Realm, including Mak Thuum Ngatha).

The Keepers which were introduced back in the Planescape Monstrous Compendium 2. They are the Men In Black.

And so were the Gardhyi of the Alternity Stardrive Setting.

The difference being that Keepers were a more construct-like Men In Black who acted really strange trying to "blend in" due to their unfamiliarity with living beings, they could shape their hands into weapons, spit poison and melted when they died. While the Gardhyi were actually organic beings with shadow powers, connected to the Ikryl Theocracy which could be redone as a connection to the Far Realm.

And like any Men In Black they're supposed to show up with something strange happens...
