Message: <blockquote data-quote="nicholasgeorg" data-source="post: 4585301" data-attributes="member: 73891">I just started it last night, although we skipped the first adventure.  My group is 5th level, and they didn't need to fight more hobgoblins.  I summarized the salient points, and got them on the road to Overlook.I think it's a pretty great time to start SoW, because the Heroic tier is well put together, IMHO.  Spoilers: I really like the idea of Githyanki playing a major role, cuz I've always wanted to have a good Astral Sea pirate fight.  I think the Broken General is a great villain, and one that my players will love to fight.  I have played up the 'thinness' of the world in the Elsir vale: that the Elemental Chaos and the Feywild are a bit closer here than elsewhere.  This will show true in the LMoK and the SRoU adventures.  I am also pretty sure that this is all building toward a fight with Tiamat at the very end.  "Scales" of War?  Cameo by Bahamut as the Birdman?  Very cool stuff.  Anyway - go Ari - keep writing these!  I love it.  More.  And, yeah, it'd be cool to tell us what was happening.  But I have enough of a buffer that I can foreshadow 5 levels ahead, and that's good enough for me.</blockquote>
