Dungeon #99?

Which one is 99?

I got the newest issue in the mail yesterday. The Dungeon side has two adventures (one is for subscribers only), the Poly side has the rock-and-roll-crime-fighting-cartoon-style mini-game.

Also, we find out what the big "Incursion" ads have been about.

**********Spoilers******

Dragon, Dungeon and Poly will have cross-over material related to a githyanki invasion that you can plop into your fantasy campaign.

Dungeon #99 spoiler stuff...

Possible light spoilers...

Cool. The "Incursion" theme seems reminiscent of Dark Sun's Black Spine aventure - one of my favorites.

So does the crossover stuff start in this ish (#99)?

Eric, I'm sure you're a busy man, but I'd love to hear all about Hijinx d20.

It sounds like the mother of all one-shots, and a golden opportunity to combine my years of bar band experience with my formidable dungeon mastery.

Could any of you who have received the issue answer me a question. I wrote a "Critical Threat" that was supposed to appear in this issue and was wondering if it's in there. I haven't gotten my copy yet.

The Critical Threat is called "Colossal Crypt", and it details a...well...Colossal Crypt. :)

I picked up my copy of #99 at my FLGS and "Colossal Crypt" is in there.

I for one kind of enjoyed that there wan't really an adventure attached, just lots of suggestions as to how this really cool location could be used in a game.

Thank you, Jhamin. :) I want to eventually write a full length adventure, but I thought it might be better if I tried my hand at one of the "Critical Threats" first. Not so intimidating. Turns out I was right. It was a joy to do, and Chris Thomasson was a joy to work with.

In the proper forum, of course.

My greatest regret about my years in the music business is that we never solved any mysteries.

Except the time the drummer's truck got stolen. But that was just some drunk guy, and he wasn't pretending to be a ghost or anything.
