Has anyone seen these or picked any up? I got the Quests on and am finishing up a review of it. It's not the easiest thing to get a review on. I'm not sure how many gamers would use an accessory like this. It is an interesting idea and the production values are pretty good.

The item is a deck of cards concerning quests. There are seven different types of cards and by randomly pulling of each type an adventure is basically constructed. For someone with little time or just needing inspiration help this could be useful.

Watched the video. Honestly I don't think it's really a great product. I can't imagine using something like that at the table during the game, and as far as prep work goes something like would be trivial in any programming language (and when I say trivial, I mean it; just creating a bunch of pre-filled arrays and drawing one item from each array is something anyone could do with just a couple minutes of instruction).

Soo.... yeah. Not impressed.

It is interesting what they are trying to do. It might have been better as a PDF though to keep costs done and allow them to more easily expand on it.

Yep, it looks like an interesting idea, but (judging purely from the video) it seems a bit *too* simplistic.

What it does, is take away some work with the most simple parts of adventure design.

What it does not, is help with the two more challenging parts... story and encounter design.

It would be cool to run it as a gimmicky, pure impromptu convention or gameday type game. So that even the GM is surprised. Would require good improve skills though.

Things like this are interesting for inspiration. Not sure if it is worth the money, but the idea is solid.

I use a Dedlands card deck with various creatures, events and locations as inspiration at times. SOemtimes the oddest combinations make the best ideas.

A deck of cards basically reprising a table in the 1e DMG? Usually just redundant, methinks, and unlikely to add utility.

Playing-card quality? Fuggedaboudit.

(Okay, I'm curious: What's the damage for one of these anyway?)

I got one of these decks a while back and I think they're nice.
Dungeon Decks allow you to sit down and play a quick game with out having done any prep. Of course in a perfect world, I would always prep... but in my world.... lol . :D
...and I don't know if I would base a campaign off of these (which I don't think that is what these are intended for), but for a quick side quest... these things are priceless.
