Dungeon Delve?

Charwoman Gene

Adventurer
Hey, can anyone give me a brief understanding of how the Dungeon Delve at Gen Con works?

I run gaming for a big Sci-Fi Con near me and I might just be able to pull off the scenery, but I'd like a "player's eye view" or even a "DM's eye view" of the dungeon delve....

Howdy Gene! Long time, etc.

Is that the one with the fully realized levels of a dungeon, ALA full levels as pre-built modular scenic units?

If so, I saw it in action and it was impressive. It was basically five or six three foot by six foot models (varying from 4 to 8 inches deep, IIRC). They had "lids" that revealed various sections as the players moved along through it. I believe the fellow told me that they stacked up in his van for transport. Quite cool.

If not, then I do not know... :(

Yes, that is it...

We may have a sponsorship that will get us the ability to make something huge like that... If not, I'm buying a LOT of Plaster of paris for my HirstArts molds... :-)

There's gotta be a way to get ahold of the fellow who does that thing at GenCon. He's been doing it for years and must have online access to have registered it. I'll do some research and try to get some info for you. :)

I know the last two years are somewhere on the WOTC site. I've downloaded both of them.

I don't know how much detail they had on running the event. However, they had the layout and monsters in each room with the events.
