This expansion will be available for free online use at New Realms Publishing's website http://www.althoria.com. New Realms Publishing is home to the Realms of Althoria product line, which includes adventures, campaign supplements and sourcebooks for the d20 role-playing game system. The Dungeon Dudes "Not Just Another Virtual Pet" are free online trainable characters. They are similar to virtual pets, with RPG-style advancement. The Dungeon Dudes go wild in this latest expansion which brings you new creatures to encounter, new skills to learn, and new items to find. The new phrases will also give you a sneak peak at Eddings Cross, an expandable mini-setting for the d20 system coming soon from New Realms Publishing. Explore the dangerous wilderness, meet new and unusual creatures, kill them, and take their treasure, in Dungeon Dudes: Into the Wilds. Dungeon Dudes: Into the Wilds is based on Into the Wilds: A Wilderness Adventures Companion and Into the Wilds: Digital Bundle. Into the Wilds: A Wilderness Adventures Companion is a d20 sourcebook that includes a new ranger variant, new feats, a system for determining encounter direction and distance, and Spot and Listen DC’s that work with existing skill rules, and a simple and detailed system for creating wilderness traps. The Into the Wilds: Digital Bundle not only includes the original d20 sourcebook but also the Into the Wilds: A Digital Companion, developed by Dimensions Game Software. The Digital Companion allows you to randomly generate the information for a wilderness encounter, such as direction, range and terrain, input your own information to calculate Listen and Spot DC’s, or a combination of both. It also includes generators for randomly creating wilderness traps and selecting the favored enemy and bonus feats for the ranger variant described in the sourcebook. For GM’s using the Into the Wilds sourcebook, this set of digital tools will greatly decrease the time needed to calculate the mechanics behind an upcoming wilderness encounter.
