Dungeon Magazine - Can Somebody Explain This?

OK, here is what I'm confused about. I assume that this is the official link to the Dungeon magazine web site:

http://www.wizards.com/dungeon/

Correct? How come it's either one or two issues behind what everybody actually gets? Issue #92 has been out for weeks (people have been talking about it on this board), and you can order it from here:

But only just this week did the Dungeon web site I listed above update to show #91!!! Are the different departments of the WotC having trouble communicating? It definitely confused me for a while, because when everybody was talking about issue #92, I was like "what do you mean, #90 is the current one!".

Anyone have the "heads-up" or insights on this matter?

The problem might stem from the fact that subscribers are one issue ahead of the newsstand. Which makes for confusing occurrences such as this one.

They may have some clause in their distribution contracts that requires them to delay selling directly until their store outlets have a shot at the market. *shrug*
