Subscription is cheaper than FLGS gets it! Hi all- I was just speaking to the owner of my local store. I recieved my Dungeon in the mail before the store did, however, He's had Dragon since Monday and I still don't have mine. However, he said that even without this new $5 discount, buying Dungeon through a subscription was cheaper than what he could buy it wholesale. So he was considering canceling his wholesale orders and having several sub's. But then the downside is of course they do not always arrive at the right time. Since I just moved, I've been getting the mag's about 2 weeks sooner than I did before the move. While I never really used the Polyhedron section, except the Greyhawk stuff, I will miss it. I miss it because there isn't another d20 magazine out. Campaign Magazine was awesome and filled a very big hole until its demise. Signs & Portents is a lousy magazine and only supports Mongoose publishing, making it another Dungeon or Dragon mag, only not even on par with the quality form its early days. As such, I'm hoping that with Necromancer now owning Judges Guild, Pegasus Magazine will make another appearance. Or at least some other magazine with quality does. Something that supports d20, d20M, Star Wars (or at least a semblance of it), DragonStar (since FFG isn't supporting it), and all the other publisher supported worlds. However, lets not have it be like Gaming Frontier mag which runs for over $15. It's too scattered in its focus.
