This looks like it may have been drawn by J.D. Webster (who did the "Fineous Fingers" comic in early issues of The Dragon). I don't remember ever seeing this one specifically in a comic-book back then (I wasn't a big comics-reader) but I do remember seeing at least 2 of the others posted in the link above, #3 and #8.

I think Bill Willingham did some of the others like the one I have. He went on to create The Elementals and now writes DC's Fables series.

Here you go- a much better (ie, readable) quality scan of the series:

Dungeons & Dragons Adventures

Funny- when the group is first assembled, Grimslade has light brown hair and beard, but now he's bald and has gray hair. Either they've all been adventuring a long time together, or else Grimslade isn't aging well!

no wonder i got drawn in and hooked to rpging 25 years ago

Nice they didnt kill the druidy chap, even if he did have a werewolf companion.

An adventurers life seemed so much simpler then...

"Look out-- it's dripping!"

Hard to believe that line didn't make it into the D&D movie.
That line shows up in other movies, none of which are appropriate to mention here, IYKWIMAITYD...
