Just got the email about this. Shannon's history pieces on DriveThruRPG (the capsule histories on the various TSR titles available there) are great. This is probably going to be a really good set of books, especially since he's not beholden to the rights-holder. (Journalistic uses of copyrighted works are considered fair use in the US, so long as one stays inside fairly broad margins.)

Agreed! I'm not sure if I will join the campaign, because I suspect it will be no printed books outside the US again. But I'm still looking forward to the books themselves.

Neat! Designers and Dragons are among my favorite RPG-related books, and they are surprisingly compelling audiobooks.

Yeah, I've never understood that. It ain't that difficult, and every other TTRPG company manages it just fine. It's why I have no Evil Hat stuff.

Try shipping into the US these days. Now that is a challenge.
