Dungeons Tiles?

First Post
Hi,

I want to build a few Dungeons for my 13th Age Groups and now I'm not sure whats the best way to achieve this.
I've tried MapTool, but I think it would be nicer if I could lay out physical maps step-by-step.
So I've read about Dungeon Tiles.

Do you think they are a good idea? And are there other manufactures than WotC? Maybe some free Versions on the Internet? But in the ladder case: How to print and use them?

Maybe theres another good idea for laying out maps.

I appreciate any help :)

best regards

Expensive option is from wyrd games....terraclips. less expensive option is wotc tiles, but hard to find.....though I might sell mine....next option is to print some, there are many good options for this, including world works games and skeleton key games and my favorite whose name is not coming out right now, but they just did a kickstarter. Lastly is the dry erase. You can make tiles out of foam, I do that. Or from moulds. Or even spend more money on dwarvenforge.....who has a kickstarter now.

As I'm not using the map for placing miniatures I do not need the 1" squares. So something where I must draw on is for me as good as a standard sheet of paper ;)

The only important thing is that I can place the dungeon room by room. Exploring is for me one of the most important things when going into a dungeon.

And I've taken a look at the Gaming paper Mega Dungeon :) Gladly this is available as pdf and this could be the perfect stuff for me!

Thanks :)

I really like the Noteboard

For $12 you get a good sized map, if you get another even better. You can fold it to slowly reveal the dungeon as you go.

It is also handy for writing papers or planning... well anything.

If that doesn't appeal, I think Gaming Paper is a good option.
