Infoworks By all means move this thread if it’s in the wrong spot. Like I said, I don’t want to step on any toes. Yes the ink issue is something that should be talked about. I’m using an Epson Stylus 777 and the ink cost is a NIGHTMARE to say the least. Thankfully there are alternative ink suppliers like www.korectype.com who offer a less expensive alternative. The DungeonWorks set used about one quarter of my ink but keep in mind that I had printed multiples of everything. So if you balance that against the cost of the actual product and the amount of ink used it still kills other alternatives. The biggest benefit as noted by Sanackranib is the ability to print multiple pieces as your needs for a more complex dungeon grows. Don’t get me wrong, I would buy multiple sets of the Dwarven Forge stuff if I could afford it but as it stands I'm just trying to achieve the same visual quality and modular functionality without the price tag. As far as detail shots go there are high resolution pictures thumbnailed at the main page www.worldworksgames.com/dungeon.html .For those who still don't believe their eyes here’s a shot I took just for this forum. No pretty lighting just the raw product: LandscapeWorks is still in early development but it will include a mass of varied modular terrain as well as a host of organic and man made objects. The set will match or surpass the amount of models included in DungeonWorks (Over 40) and will retail for $15.00. The set will be scalable and should work with any figure size. I think overall flexibility is the key with these products; they should be INEXPENSIVE, easy to build, look great, and highly modular. Hope that answers some questions and thankyou for the interest!
