Dodge bonuses Yup, Now having access to my PH, the dodge feat states that all dodge bonuses stack. Implying as we should all know that all other AC bonuses don't stack. (like if your carrying a shield and cast the shield spell, it doesn't stack) Here's a scary tibit a 10th level Dwarven Defender using the defencive stance ability, wearing full plate, a tower shield, the dodge feat (only applies to one attacker), and the +1 dex bonus the feat requires and Dex allows is: 32 AC When not using the stance it's: 28 AC 1 level of Defender and in stance (same equipement): 29 AC And of course a charater of 8th level or more will probably have magic armor . . . About earlier comments of attacking Dwarven Defender's from a distance while there in 'defensive stance', The Defender can simply gain Total cover if he's using a Tower Shield. Of course it might mean the party doesn't benefit much but good party strategy could work around that. Anyone thought about making the class accessible to all races (possibly many classes as well) and eliminating the defencive stance? In a lot of ways the present version is a near exact copy of the Babarian, except he can barely move insted of being fast and can wear heavy armor. Call him the Shield Bearer, or Resolute Defender, for say monks. Let the Damage reduction come in earlier and more gradually. Give him a "Block arrows" (same as feat Deflect arrows) but be able to use it to block an arrow aimed at an ally within five feet. It would cost him an immediate action (same as a move action but usebal at any time) put him in the same square as his ally or in front 5feet (between archer and target) The move would be usable when wearing a shield or by a monk whenever. The player would have to chose to use this before the attack is declared a hit (but only for allies.) or perhaps not. Give me your thoughts,
