Dwarven Forge alternatives

Hi Everyone,

I know this was posted before, but I can't seem to find it. As much as I would like it, my brother and I simply can't afford Dwarven Forge accessories. Someone posted a link to an alternative that bore a striking resemblance to the more expensive counterparts. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the product ("Mage" something?). Does anyone recall this product?

Thanks! :)

Might be the MageKnight dungeons set -- check the WizKids site, and I'm sure that you'll find it there somewhere.

I remember that thread, I also remember replying to it.

I did a price breakdown - cost per piece, and found out that Dwarven Forge was cheaper on that scale.

So in the end I got Dwarven Forge off of eBay.

That said, here are the competing brands:

Grendel Resins - Scenery, doors, bridges, and so on.

Hirst Arts - the people who make the molds Dwarven Forge and others use.

Miniature Building Authority: Gives you modular fantasy towns where DF gives you dungeons.

Mystic Modular - Dwarven Forge compatable dungeon blocks (different sculpts than DF).
