That's when they start making contingency plans to silence them. In adventure 3, the PCs are lucky that their boss takes them off the case temporarily, because it gets the villains to back down. But by the end of adventure 3 the Ob will be looking for a way to take out the party without tipping their hands. (That plays out in part 4.)</blockquote>
