[E-Tools] Skill points not adding up right.

First Post
Hey guys.

I was just testing the program, typing an old PC into the E*T and I noticed that skill points are not adding up right.

A first level rogue with 16 INT should start with (8+3)x4 = 44. E*T is coming up with 32 points. I also noticed when he multiiclassed as a wizard and other classes they were all "short".

Is there a fix for this, does anyone know?

Thanks.

Nevermind

Hey guys, figured this one out. You cannot do adjustments in the "user Entry" column, need to do them to the column to the far right.

Thanks anyways.

And that's because the "user" column is for non-inherent bonuses, and we all know that plays havoc with skill points. Intelligence is apparently the only ability that works like that.

.

I've been having this same problem. So, what is the 'User' column used FOR, then?

So far I've tried twice to create a character and failed both time. Attempt #1: Does not recognize I'm human.
Attempt #2: Still does not add in INT bonus to skills.

The "user" column is to adjust your stats after creation. If you read a tome that raises your INT, you adjust from the user column. NEXT level, you get the added skill point.
