[Round 3 cont] Nars is once again overcome by the creepy crawlies as the bat move across his skin. Unable to do much more than stumble forward at least he is now out of the swarm. Nearly tripping on the depression, Nars finds himself further in the darkness. He can see a little ways further than his companions and spots (spoiler)
the two cheetah statues have come to life and are moving forward. They are wrapped head to paw in burial wraps. The jackal statue that had been a top the pedastle is no longer there
. Ishmael ignores the bats moving around him and finds Nar's vacated spot to toss the alchemical mixture. The vial shatters where he targeted and a 'darkened?' gout of chemical flame scorches several of the bats. It has less effect than Ishmael had hoped and the nasty glowing green eyes and seemingly random sharp pointy bones sticking out of the bats leads him to believe that they are somewhat demonic in nature. As the bats surround Nezrak, the elf is most definitely grossed out (fort save 2) by the leathery bat wings and sharp bony bits that buffet him and is unable to do much at all (nauseated). [Round 4] More arcane sounds begin issuing from the furthest corner of the room (Nars can't see that far). [sblock=Spellcraft DC 23]someone/thing is casting Summon Monster 3[/sblock] The two cheetah statues move up to Nars and begin attacking the nauseated dwarf. Their wicked bony jaws. The first misses in the darkness, but the second tears into the dwarf leg and rips a viscious chunk of flesh away. Percy detects flapping wings directly (inches from her face) in front of her. She can also figure out that Ishmael and Nezrak are in the midst of it and one of the two who had been in the front room just inside the doors. She decides to cast sleep despite the possibility of affecting Nezrak, Ishmael, or Rodimus. "Night, night." she whispers and the sound of bats flying becomes the sound of bats thudding into the ground. ~~Action Paused~~ Rodimus Gorefoot Bat Swarm (asleep) Nars Ishmael Nezrak [sblock=ooc]Some nice rolls on Percy's spell. It had an equal chance of affecting Nezrak or the swarm (though Nezrak is immune to sleep he could still be the target). Then she by-passed their SR and they failed their saves. But the cheetah critted Nars, doh. Damage Recap: Nars 21 dmg (wounding 2) Rodimus 4 dmg (wounding 1) Ishmael 5 dmg (wounding 1) Nezrak 2 dmg (wounding 1)[/sblock]
