Earth Events Timeline?

Xaositech

First Post
Has anyone ran a campaign based off of our world from Testament up to Medieval Times that has in possession, knows of a resource, or created their own timeline of events according to year? This would be the same thing you'd see in campaigns such as Dragonlance, Eberron, FR, etcetera. I was hoping that someone may have gotten creative and abridged something from something vast in context like Edward Gibbon's Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire plus eras dating back to Babylonian and Egyptian dynasties.

Any direction to resources to simplify the task would be strongly appreciated. Thanks!

THere are some web resources like wiki and things that can aid in this but I've not seen anything that really tackles this specifically. Timeline, a rare GURPS book might just do it.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestion!

Timelines of History

I have an older version of this book, but it is great! And this one is updated for 2006

I happened to see that on Amazon while coming the web during my lunch time @ work. On a whim, I decided to drop by a Half Price Books store near me to see what was available in the History section. Picked up a number of good reference materials, but nothing current as the book you've mentioned.

I've been also trying to shoot for some of those heavily illustrated ones that'll provide photos that you can show your PCs in the group ... and of course, still trying to find a decent map I can use to alter/edit to accommodate my campaign's alternate history. :p
