Message: <blockquote data-quote="der_kluge" data-source="post: 1626643" data-attributes="member: 945">Ok, this doesn't have anything to do with D&D, but I figured someone on here (my favorite internet stomping ground) might have encountered this kind of thing before and would have some advice.My wife bought a "Kate Spade" purse on Ebay a couple of weeks ago.Now, Kate Spade purses are, for those that don't know, somewhat expensive purses that are often counterfeited.  Now, my wife actually bought two on Ebay - from different sellers.  A black one, and a brown one.  The "Kate Spade" label on the brown one was slightly different, was glued on "as opposed to sewed on", and the font size was slightly larger than the black one.  My wife went to Nordstrom and asked the clerk about the bag, and the clerk told her that the fake ones fit the description that she described.So, basically, the brown bag was fake, and the black bag was real.So, my wife didn't want the brown bag.  It was illegal first off, and should never have been sold on Ebay.  Ebay specifically looks for these kinds of things and removes them.So, I emailed her:"My wife has indicated that the Kate Spade purse is fake.  The tag on theoutside is glued on, and the lettering is larger, and not consistentwith real Kate Spade purses.  My wife asks that you refund her purchase,and we will ship the purchase back to you.  Please reply."And this was her response:"I did not advertise it as being real.  But if you like I will refund hermoney less my listing fee and shipping.thanks "So, my question is, has anybody encountered a situation like this, and whether anyone here knows what Ebay's policies are in such situations?  I would check their site, but ebay.com is blocked from my workplace.</blockquote>
