Wow, Very nice supplement. I seriously considering using it, for the stats at the very least (although I haven't tracked down slaad stats yet). I will at least be changing the 'look' of the aliens as I don't want the players to be toooo sure of what they're dealing with. I want them to feel like their stuck in an Aliens movie but still be unsure of some of what to expect. Like I said, I do want it to 'feel' like Aliens, but I hear what you're saying. Hmmm, I'm now thinking of basing my Aliens on the Aliens: Game Over stats, but with the venom/guyver style parasitic biomorph I first described. The Egg/Spore psionically fascinates potential victims; the Face Hugger/Blob stuns them with a psionic blast & latches onto their neck, psionically pummelling them into unconsciousness while it implants itself in the back of their neck (ala Ga'oulds from Stargate); hours later a vile mass pours back out of the neck to coat & transform the victim's body, transforming the victim into a Drone/Possessed... How does that sound? This mixes in elements of a couple of movies, hopefully creating a tense creepy atmosphere, but with enough difference to make the players unsure exactly what to expect. Plus, if the victim becomes a host for the creature (instead a corpse left behind by a Chest Burster), there's a glimmer of hope that the victim might be saved if the parasite can just be forced to abandon it. I'll have to work on the names though. Not sure Spore, Blob, & Possessed quite fit. I've got no idea what to call the race either. I think you found my queen stats Jack. :]
