[EBERRON] Easter Egg in City of Stormreach?

MrFilthyIke

First Post
pg. 31 under Denizens of the Bazaar:

7. The elf Garay Gyriaz runs Garay's Games, a small wooden shop offering the
finest in games, including Conqueror, Dragonhunt, Engagement, and Three-Dragon
Ante. Specialty versions of the games-carved from livewood, obsidian, or silver-are
available for wealthy gaming enthusiasts.

So, anyone else think this is a easter egg, and an oddly timed one considering the book
only came out in Feb.

Or am I on something? :)

P.S. Only just realized calling an "egg" is even more appropriate.

When I first read it, I kinda thought to myself "So, Gary has left us and set up shop in Stormreach."

:)

edit: Next thing we know, a city militia will spring up named Tactical Stormreach Regiment. ;)

Yeah, but then there'd be a coup, and General L. Williams would take over....

The city would then collapse in a few years, but they'd have plenty of unused broad swords, atlatls, heavy picks, and Jakandor books in storage.

...And then some strange Wizards (who lived by the Coast) would come along, and....

Maybe the wizards by the coast are Seren shamans or something similar.

Not that I'd call Wizards a bunch of barbarians or anything. ;)

I keed, I keed! :D

Yeah...I tossed that in City of Stormreach as a hat's off to The Creator...sadly more poignant now.

We'll miss you Gary.
