Eberron soundtrack

Pretty good.

1.) Its pretty generic, so don't worry bout the Eberron label.

2.) Its similar to the D&D Soundtrack, I wouldn't be surprised if they are done by the same people.

3.) Its background music, unlike a movie soundtrack. Not alot of cresendos or action to the music. Its mostly atmosphere, as opposed to more traditional movie scores.

4.) I'll pick it up, I'm a sucker for D&D/Eberron stuff, and I LIKE the D&D soundtrack.

Personally, I liked it. But I like instrumental pieces like that. I've got all of Midnight Syndicate's stuff and will probably get their newest work whenever it is completed and released.

I liked the three sample tracks. They were far superior to the bad synth-pomp of the Midnight Syndicate cd. The Eberron music is good quality and generic enough to apply to any game. It also has interesting themes and melodies playing through it and doesn't feel like bland filler. I am considering getting the book just in order to get a copy of the cd (although I imagine that the contentwould also be worth it, as the Ebbie core hardback was pretty spiffy).

I like it. A lot. The tracks are very atmospheric stuff, and will work well as background music for a game.

Eberron keeps strengthening its position as my favourite setting, and if the rest of the tracks on the CD are as good as these three... *Drool*

I wish it was November already. It's been a long time since I was this excited about any gaming book.

Pretty good music. Quality is similar to the Neverwinter Nights game.

BTW, anybody else try roleplaying to the NWN music? You can pull the music files off the disk, change the file type to mp3, and burn youself a disk to take to game nite. We love it.

very nice :) they are alas rather 'they've nicked a bit from something, and a bit from something else.. but what from?' but after a while you get used to them on their own merits, i think i might well have to get the CD

i confess i dont even own NWN, but i'm definately going to use the Explore 3 tune from Morrowind as a background sometime (why is it you never hear of people wanting to do an Elder Scrolls P&P RPG?)

I downloaded and listend to the 3 preview tracks. This stuff isn't bad at all... and why limit this kind of background music to fantasy games? I can definitely find an appropriate use these tracks for games in other genres, like the Stargate SG-1 RPG.
