Eclipse d20?

Has anybody read or played this? It looks like a truly generic rendition of the core d20 System elements, though there are no reviews and I know that ad copy can be misleading. So, if you have read or played Eclipse, I'd like to hear from you:

1. Is this a complete system of its own (i.e., a product that requires no other products to use) or is it a supplement for use with other d20/OGLproducts?

2. If the former, what approach does the system take to classes, creatures, etc? The ad copy makes it look as though it provides rules to 'roll your own' as it were.

3. If the latter, how dependent on other products is it (e.g.m what standard d20 rules does it lack within its pages)?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know anything specific about the products, but poking around I did notice:

Legends of High Fantasy:

Not that there's really that much about about LoHF floating around. But poking around a bit on that led me to their rpgnow store:

In the 3rdedition.org website, Patrick “Stanley” Bryant mentions that Paul Melroy did the magic for LoHF and Melroy in the other article says he did most of the mechanics.

I'd be tempted to say that Eclipse is probably going to bear similarities to the LoHF books, although they might be more "evolved". Kinda hard to say really, but it might be something to think about.
