The rotation of the habitat ring provides GDS-43 Torus with enough gravity that you can walk fairly easily. Your AR displays indicate the station is currently maintaining approximately .5G. There appears to be something wonky with the station's electrical system, as the lights dim and flicker intermittently. The further you move away from the airlock, the more the haze hanging in the air clears up, and by the time you reach the Rec Room, it is gone completely. The beeping you heard from the airlock is louder here, but seems to be coming from one of the other rooms further in. The layer of dust in this room is about as bad as in the airlock. Whoever once occupied GDS-43 Torus did not want for recreation. Along the right side of the room are six VR pods, all connected to monitors above them, probably to show what VR program is currently running the pod. Currently, all the monitors show static. A plush sectional sofa is in the near left corner, with a small cocktail table in front of it. Three half-consumed beverages and some half-eaten pastries still sit on the table. The far left corner has some sort of game table, possibly one of those fancy hybrids that has foosball, air hockey, billiards, and other games built-in and convertible with the touch of a button. The door leading to the next room, the Sick Bay is shut. The door is obviously not sound-proof since you can hear the beeping through it.
