Ecology of Fire Creatures

I'm writing up some encounters that take place in a Fire Giant stronghold, and have set it up so that they have two "servitor" races, namely some Salamanders (who treat the Giants as religious paragons, as both groups worship Surtur) and Scorpionfolk (MM2, I believe they were originally from the Scarred Lands setting). I've mapped out a stronghold, but what kind of amenities would creatures that radiate fire have? It's not like they are going to rely on wooden chairs, but some of these creatures need to sleep, too...what's comfortable that won't light up as soon as it's touched?

Just curious if there's ever been any look at how Salamanders and Fire Giants live. Also, allied creatures like Fire Elementals and Magmin show up, too...how would they factor in?

P.S. the stronghold has a bridge that spans a lava-"waterfall" (see Map-A-Week).

Salamanders are Outsiders, so their needs are minimal:

Outsiders breathe, but do not need to eat or sleep (although they can do so if they wish).

Scorpionfolk are... Monstrous Humanoids? So they'd be just like any other person or beastie. :)

They might sleep in beds of sand, I suppose. I've always felt that outsiders like salamanders must be able to suppress their fire to some degree when they need to. If that's so, they might use regular materials, or they might use a great deal of stone, ceramic and glass.

Magmin and Elementals would probably stay in their lava homes.

I always pictured salamanders making their "home" in a lava tube or a crevice of a rock.

Scorpionfolk ... well real life scorpions by themselves in sand or hide in rocks, IIRC. I'd go with something like that.
