Ecology OF?

has anyone written an ecology of? I miss those monster articles gave good insight on how to run them.

how about re-written any of the older articles so that they are more relevent to the 3.5 version.

Not sure if it's what you are looking for, but there are Slayer's Guides to different monsters that are very detailed. Not by WotC but still interesting reads

Flipped through one (the titan one) years ago, didn't recall being particularly impressed.

I wouldn't mind a revised 3.5 elder titan (ELH) in keeping with the newer design tenets.

The article s from dragon, The ecology of _______ one of my favorites was the ecology of the giant leech, even though I didnt like the addition of poison to the creature... the article was well thought out and made for several funny scenario's in my campaigns
