[QUOTE="Jemal, post: 6081140, member: 9026"] I'm leaning towards the young dragon character. I've actually been having a thought about it lately.. Would you mind if he were a young member of the silverscales? I'm imagining the original SilverScale's youngest child. He ran away the day his mother died, and has been hiding from the remainder of his family ever since. He's a fairly carefree happy nice guy that at the moment just enjoys adventuring, helping, and testing what he can do. WHY he's hiding from his brother(s?) is as yet undecided, we can figure that out, but he keeps his true nature hidden because of that. I'm thinking of not really giving him his 'dragon powers' because they won't come into play, but if the campaign continues to the point where they start mattering, then I'll pay for them - Things like the standard dragon 'slow aging', his actual dragon form(Strength, size, breath weapon, flight, etc), his wealth/status/connections from his background, and so forth. As for powers, I've narrowed to two ideas. First is combining the 'force mage' and 'telekinesis' ideas I had together - TK being basically another application of force. The problem is I'd want to try it using the 'variable' setting, which most gms (understandably) have some hesitance about. I believe, however, that using variable with the descriptor of 'force effects' is sufficiently limiting that i won't be pulling stuff outta my .. portable hole .. that will throw you for a loop (Which seems to be most peoples issue with variable). Everything I'd want out of it would be variants on 'create object'(Using primarily basic geometric force shapes), afflictions(ALA Bigbys hand spells), direct damage (Force orb, Magic missile), Move Object(Telekinesis), or defenses (Wall of force/mage armour, basic force field stuff). I could do all of that using a 'force array' that would probably cost the same or less, but Its the little tweaks that I like, and with the array I'd have to power stunt them. Second idea is Transmutation: Pretty much a straight up 4 pt/rank transform (Non-living matter) power. Wouldn't have any direct damage capabilities, but I've got ideas for combat purposes. *EDIT: May also throw in the 'swordmaster' with the transmutation if I can afford it, having the transmutations weave in with the sword-fighting - Using a longer range or area effect attack with the descriptor that he's actually altering the blades size to make the attacks.
