I used to lug around pounds of paper composed of campaign notes (in case something from the past of the PCs comes up), self-made sourcebooks and NPC-files (Both often not up to date) and several printed sourcebooks.Since a little bit over a month I have a notebook, and my paper has shrunk down to one or two sourcebooks and the latest adventure notes. All my campaign notes, NPCs etc. are kept on the notebook, allways up to date, easily searched, and less space consuming. I have access to the SRD as well, which cuts down on flipping through rulebooks, and to all my PDFs. That alone made buying the notebook worthwile.</blockquote>
