EDIT: Doh! This is the wrong forum :(. If a mod sees this, can you move it over to 4E Rules? Thanks :). It seems like a weapon-based character using an appropriate elemental weapon has an easier time making use of feats like Lasting Frost and Hellfire Blood than the arcane characters these feats were probably intended for. With a Frost Weapon, Wintertouched, and Lasting Frost, a character gets combat advantage and +5 damage against the target as long as he keeps hitting, which makes these two feats probably the best two feats you can ever pick up. Unlike Wizards, the weapon-based character is not limited in his power selection. These feats will function for all of his powers, powers that probably weren't balanced with these feats in mind. Ironically, weapon-based characters seem to have more powers that grant multiple attacks against the same target, further enhancing the value and reliability of these feats. So right now, I'm wondering if these feats are too good in conjunction with weapons. Of course, the DM can limit the availability of elemental weapons, but if this must be done, then that just shows these feats + elemental weapons is too good :). Elemental weapons seem in line with other magic weapons without these bonuses as they have daily powers. Would a houserule that these feats don't work with weapon powers work (EDIT: or possibly only work with arcane powers, possibly also with divine powers), balance-wise? I'm guessing there are probably some weapon powers that would make sense with these feats.
