Elements of Magic: Mystic Earth any good?

First Post
Ok as the title suggests im looking into Elements of Magic: Mystic Earth as a way to have a sponteneous magic system in my Post Apocolyptic world set about 50 years after WW2 ( WW2 was when the Apocolyptic event happened).

Thus i was wondering if anyone had any experience with it, and how they felt it went over.

Thanks any information about this topic or just helpful information you want to share ingeneral is gratefully apreciated.

I wrote Mythic Earth (not Mystic), and ran a modern campaign using it. In hindsight, by mid-levels (7th or 8th or so) it becomes too easy to use magic, and rapidly starts to outstrip non-magic options.

It's been a while since I played with it, so I cannot recall what specific revisions I'd suggest, but you'd probably want to limit how many spells a character can cast in a day. And definitely put some restrictions on the versatility of shapeshifting.
