So here are my conversions of the Gauntlets of Ogre Power and the Robe of Stealth (formerly Robe of Blending; I decided that PF changed the item enough that the old version could be its own item). GAUNTLETS OF OGRE POWER Aura faint transmutation; CL 6th Slot hands; Price 32,800 gp; Weight 4 lb. Description: These gauntlets are made of tough leather with iron studs running across the back of the hands and fingers. They grant the wearer great strength and resilience, adding a +4 enhancement bonus to his Strength score and a +2 enhancement bonus to his Constitution score. Additionally, the gauntlets can cast enlarge person on the wearer for a total of 6 minutes per day. This duration need not be continuous, but must be used in 1-minute increments. Both gauntlets must be worn for their powers to be effective. Construction: Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, bear’s endurance, bull’s strength, enlarge person; Cost 16,400 gp. This was a big learning experience for trying to price items. I hope I understood the guidelines well enough. Bull’s strength SL 2, CL 6, cost = ability bonus(+4)^2 x 1,000 = 16,000 gp Bear’s endurance SL 2, CL 6, cost = ability bonus(+2)^2 x 4,000 x secondary(1.5) = 6,000 gp Enlarge person SL 1, CL 6, cost = SL x CL (6) x 1,000 x secondary(1.5) x 6/5 = 10,800 gp 16,000 + 6,000 + 10,800 gp = 32,800 (x0.5 for creation cost) ROBE OF STEALTH Aura moderate illusion; CL 10th Slot body; Price 30,000 gp; Weight 1 lb. Description: This nondescript item resembles a robe of blending but obfuscates the user in a different manner. When this robe is put on, the wearer intuitively knows that the garment has very special properties. A robe of stealth enables its wearer to appear to be part of his surroundings. This allows him a +10 competence bonus on Stealth checks. The wearer can adopt the appearance of another creature, as with the disguise self spell, at will. All creatures acquainted with and friendly to the wearer see him normally. Construction: Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self, hallucinatory terrain, creator must have at least 10 ranks in the Stealth skill; Cost 15,000 gp. I added hallucinatory terrain as a requirement since it seemed to fit with the function of the Robe of Stealth and justified its high caster level compared to the cheaper Pathfinder variant.
