Khan’s Press is pleased to announce the upcoming release of ElfClash: Realm of Lanai Player's Guide, by Maggie McCall.

The Lanai Player's Guide brings you new elves, new alternative classes and abilities, and introduces you to the ElfClash War, pitting elf against elf.

Like elves? The Lanai Player's Guide gives elves a new look. Some are similar, like the dark and wylde elves. Others are new, like the skie elves, and the powerful Tali, able to polymorph into a silver dragon variant. Plus an in-depth look at Elves of all types - from the uncouth barbaric races to the bloodthirsty and savage militant races

Want new classes? Lanai brings you two new ones, plus changes to many of the "traditional" classes. It also uses a different magic system!

And there’s more! 30+ new feats, 10 new skills, 10 new domains, and 10 new deities.

And of course, a versatile realm where you can play (or run) a game of nearly any type - from hack-and-slash to political intrigue.

ElfClash will be supported with other titles, as well as its own website developed by the author. Below is the artwork for the cover of Lanai by Benjamin Richards.

Wulf,
Yes, dead elves are nice too. And you can accomplish a lot of that in a world that is run by evil, corrupt elves. Lots of war, lots of political strife, lots of fun. Even for elf-haters. The playtest group that first played the game despised elves and now that's all they want to play - as long as they are Lanai elves.

Point taken :)
But, really, I've put a lot of time and effort into making the races of elves different and fun to play. In fact, if you took off the pointy ears, some of them wouldn't even seem like elves at all. I'm working on perfecting the primer to make it an adequate intro to the world and races, etc, so that people can preview the world before they buy a book. I'll hopefully get it out soon and I'll offer it for free download. And, of course, the Player's Guide will be finished soon :) And I'll be working on the GameMaster's Guide after the Player's Guide is finished!

The books will be pdf. However, I *think* there might be a possibility of providing print copies on an as-ordered basis. I might be able to whine enough to the publisher :) Be sure to keep an eye out at http://www.khanspress.tk for updates and release information if you are interested! We appreciate everyone who is willing to give this a chance! :) You won't be disappointed! :)

Cool:):):)hank you very much!I can only pay by check. So I do not like pdf only. But I know why many of you do pdf's.Oh,hi Wulf, how are you doing?elforcelf

I understand perfectly. I don't have a credit card, so I tend to prefer books in print as well (plus, I find it nicer to read a book than stare at the computer for longer than I already have to). While the publisher will have final say on whether or not we will be able to offer printed books (by request), I'm sure something can be worked out! PDF versions will likely be far less expensive, but at least a printed version would be a little more transportable to RPG sessions :)
