What email software do people around here use? I have been using IncrediMail but need a change of scenery.

Outlook.

I'm perfectly happy with outlook. It's no more a virus risk to me than any other e-mail program, and I like the interface.

Outlook is a huge virus/worm risk. Many worms are written specifically for Outlook because it is so popular. I prefer Calypso, or to a lesser extent, Eudora.

EDIT: I forgot Mozilla Mail. That's a nice one too.

Wrong. It has the highest risk of any email program.

I use Netscape.

I have downloaded a trial version of Eudora. What is Calypso? I have never heard of it.

It's a nice program with lots of advanced features. The last update was like a year and a half ago, but it does everything I need. Plus it's free!

Please note that Tsyr said thet "to him" Outlook was not a virus risk. From other posts he has made, I gather he is knowledgable enough to be able to minimize the risks in Outlook, so that it is no worse than other programs.

I'm not an expert, but I would guess that, with common sense, most any of us could use Outlook with minimal risk. Simple things like turning off the preview pane and not opening any attachments cover most of the holes.
