For the price you can not beat it! The new monster (the Centry) and alternate rules could add texture and depth to many 4E games. Will be looking forward to the Key of Fey when it comes out.

Have you tried out the Talents in play? How have they worked out? How do they balance vis-a-vis Powers?

I've only tried out a couple in play, mostly paragon talents, but they have considerable differences compared to the standard power. They're mostly designed for non-combat purposes, particularly in skill challenges, so it depends on how often you're in non-combat situations. The Heal and Perception talents are VERY useful in combat (I don't have them in front of me at work, but the paragon Heal talent can pull someone's butt out of the fire) but it all depends on your own campaign. That's why they're free - talents don't have a role to play in every campaign, but there may be a few players out there who would like to use them. If you mix it up with Power Knowledge, it can give you an extra utility power to play with.

If anyone has tried any of them out in game, I'd love to hear how they worked out for you.
