Empire of Iuz questions

Ok, by essentially random chance I have dropped my party into the Empire of Iuz. They had been in Acheron working the Iron Fortress, but someone hit them with a Blasphemy. Poof- back to the prime material place. I then randomly picked a spot on my Greyhawk map, and lo and behold it was the forest adjacent to the Empire of Iuz. Their way back to their home regions leads right through the empire.
Ok, so if they decide to trek back through the empire what are they likely to find? I really have no idea whatsoever. The party is pretty much of ECL 15, so normal patrols will be a cakewalk. Where would I look for information on this subject? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You want to get yourself a copy of "Iuz the Evil" a fantastic 96 page 2nd Ed. supplement that covers the breadth and scope of the Empire.

You might be lucky and pick one up on ebay (though I just did a search and they don't currently have any on auction)!?

Given the huge quantity of used stuff at my game store, I could probably find one without trouble. However I was hoping to be a cheap bastard, since I don't really want they staying there too long. I'd like to get them back to the other adventure (especially since one of their compatriots is stuck in Acheron being tortured). All I really want is some ideas for a quicky encounter.

Hmmm...Maybe you could have a few leveled orges, high level vampires or high level priests of Iuz or of demon lords for the party to play with. All of the demons and such that used to exist are banished in the official campaign thanks to Canon Hazen and the Crook of Roa. IYGC you could have Iuz bring them back.

Mostly there are orc, half orge and hobgoblin patrols in the area.

Depending on the date of your game you could use the City of Skulls adventure about rescuing a paladin from Molag. Its 10-12 level in 2nd ed. IIRC. Of course you could have reason to bring them to the Vast Swamp and run Tomb of Horrors in 3e :)
