You may have heard rumours of some major impending changes in the PDF Retail market.
EN World GameStore is closing, effective immediately. In its place will be an affiliate store owned an operated by RPGNow and DTRPG under their new merged company, OneBookShelf.
This allows EN World to go back to its roots - D&D news and a fantastic community, without worrying about retail factors. In addition, it allows fans of PDF products access to a greater catalogue of products, and a single location to browse. The affiliate store is run by the (now merged) RPGNow and DTRPG retail outlets, and contains their entire merged catalogue, along with that of the EN World GameStore.
This arrangement benefits everyone - the publishers, the fans, the companies running the stores. You can easily support your favourite publisher or retail outlet and EN World at the same time - all the while getting access to an enormous catalogue of products, from Wizards of the Coast to EN Publishing, from the biggest publishers in the business, to the innovative small press publishers we all love to support.
The new store is here.
If you have previously bought from ENGS, your bookshelf will remain in place - so you will be able to contiue to download your purchases.
I'm sure there will be questions, from fans and publishers alike, and so I have started a thread here to handle those questions. In a couple of days I will compile a FAQ of the... uhh... frequently asked questions.
