Message: <blockquote data-quote="Twin Rose" data-source="post: 2671390" data-attributes="member: 2765">I've received a few comments/questions regarding the Agreement between the publisher and the EN World GameStore, and I thought it would be good if I clarified a few matters:1)Q: "So, anyone can start uploading, and selling products without any review process?"A: In theory, yes, but I don't imagine anyone paying the $99 fee to begin selling trash.2)Q: "You can terminate my ability to sell a product, even if I've paid the $99 fee?"A: Yes, because of #1, above, we need to be able to retroactively review products that may be being sold in a fraudulent way.  We also reserve the right to terminate the agreement if you are defrauding the customers.  Paying a fee does not alleviate you from the responsibility of providing non-fraudulent products.  Termination will -only- occur in the case of fraud, violation of law (criminal or civil) or violating the policies of the EN World GameStore Agreement - each clause of which is defined in the license.  And even then, except where indicated, there is a 30 day period to cure the breech.3)Q: "You can change the payment schedule at any time, so you can bump up your comission to 30%?"A: Not without notice, and not without giving you ample opportunity to back out of the agreement - and even request a refund of your activation fee (depending on the circumstance).  Please see the publisher Agreement for details, but generally, this will NOT happen without agreement.  (Ie, we cannot force higher comission rates on you!)What change payment SCHEDULE means is that if we decide to, say, send you a check on the 20th of every month instead of the 15th, we can - with the 30 day notice indicated in the Agreement.4)Q: "How often can I withdraw my balance?"A: At any time.  Because of transfer fees incurred by paypal, there is a $2 transfer fee taken from your withdrawl - so it behooves you to let it acrue, but you do not necassarily have to do so.  There is a short wait period to ensure that the payments have been processed first, of course.5)Q: "What happens if my balance goes negative?"A: Then you will be unable to make purchases or withdrawls until your balance is restored.  The Agreement contains details of what can happen if you are delinquent for an extended period, or if Our costs exceed our gain.6)Q: "Why does the shop look like the forums?"A: Because when doing initial surveys, most people wanted it to look familiar to them.  To look and feel like EN World.  In the future, I'd like to make a seperate "Default Style" for people who directly surf in, or are not logged in to EN World.  Also, at the bottom left is a select box for style - try "Stealth" mode if you want to see a less 'dark' front.In a lot of ways, the shop is being designed to be an extension of the forums - but stand-alone as well.  The ratings people put on their products go directly to their 'bookshelf', which all EN World users can browse and view - and perhaps purchase.7)Q: "What sorts of add-ons will increase my comission?"A: We will offer ALL services without additional charge to the publisher.  At no time will the publishers base comission rate exceed that which he signed up for.  Comission is based on a per-product basis, with opt-in ... AND opt-out ... Options.  Those signing up now will receive a base 20% comission rate.  Future changes to the base will not change any publishers base rate without notice and agreement, as detailed in the license agreement.8)Q: "What is the minimum transfer?"A: All purchases under 20 dollars are charged a transaction fee of 75 cents.  This fee may change, as well as the minimum purchase, when numbers are more readily available, but will always remain posted and give plenty of warning.  There are no transfer fees on purchases made from Account Balance.</blockquote>
