Except that web pages and links aren't permanent. Want some links to some great threads from test.cyberstreet.com? www.enworld.org/messageboards? www.enboards.org? http://dynamic3.gamespy.com?

A link that doesn't stay around for at least a week is useless. Don't bother to link to it.

A link that's been around for older than a week is out of date. That goes doubly so for stuff sent around via email.

Such is the web. If you want permanent info, cut and paste and save it as a text file. The web is dynamic by nature.

I thought the H stood for hyper, wouldn't the L stand for link. ;)

HTML = HyperText Markup Language. Hypertext is the newfangled whoopty-doo jargon for text that can be read in a nonlinear fashion, ie with hyperlinks 'n stuff.

To be exact, I should have said "that's what the HT stands for", but it wouldn't be as snappy. ;)

Or, if you want to keep the formatting (and links), save it as an HTML file. If you want to keep all your saved HTML files in an indexed, easy-to-search format, e-mail them to yourself, and keep them in an Outlook (or Outlook Express) folder.

Don't use Outlook. Outlook is evil. And very open to viruses..

I am reminded of Charlie Brown's valentines.

Hong "new for 2002! Cut out the middleman: spam yourself!" Ooi

I'll look at the page templates when I get a chance and see if I can change the page titles while leaving the actual site title intact on the page. Shouldn't be too hard.
Have you taken a look? Is it going to be a task?
