Eventually I managed to scrape together a little money and was considering my future, perhaps a new life in a new city. I don't know where I would have ended up had I gone forth with that plan, but instead I saw a posting calling for able bodies to clear out a goblin warren. I pulled him back with an admonishment for silence and was kneeling down in front of the door examining the lock before I knew what I was doing. I had a small crisis there. Was I destined to be a thief? But then I had a revelation, there were a lot of locked doors in the world, and not all of them belonged to the good people of the world.
