I just bought two items from Goodman Games' sale:

DDC: 12:5
and DDC: 21.

Both had a sale price of $4.89; however, I was charged the full price of 6.99.

Anyway to fix this?

EEk! I just checked too and it SHOULD be using the same function to fetch the price all around. But checking the log, it did indeed charge you regular price. Let me know in an email (twinrose@twinrose.net) the receipt address you used for Paypal and I'll refund the difference to you. (What a strange error, other people buying it have gotten the sale price!)

Maybe, did you have the products already in your cart or wishlist before the sale went live?

Yes, they were in my wishlist before the sale. On the wishlist, the sale price wasn't shown; I probably should have realized something was wrong, but I hoped the sale price would be factored in upon purchase.

Would it be possible to add a 'review purchase' step at the end of the transaction process? That would have given me a chance to review the price and confirm I was being charged correctly.

Thanks for the response. For me it's no biggie, I'm enjoying the products already. I didn't use paypal; however, I would satisfied if the difference was put into my account (if that's a possibility) towards future purchases. There's plenty more on my wishlist :)

We did it this way to protect people who put something in their cart when it was on sale, and then if the sale was removed before they were done checking out, they still got the sale price. I'm sorry it worked in reverse for you. I'll go ahead and credit your account the difference. Enjoy your gaming, and glad to hear you enjoy the books!
